4-string Double Bass - String length 105 cm
Probably built in Northern Italy or Tyrol. The repair slip is labelled with Vienna 1930. This instrument comes from the old collection of the Vienna Symphony Orchestra and was played there for a long time. It seems to us like it´s made in Italy, because there is no clear determination of origin, and the bass is rated as a beautiful Tyrolean instrument.
The bass is in stable, repaired condition and got a new K&T bridge.
