How our PETER INFELD® bass strings help you sound your best Our PETER INFELD® strings for double bass make you shine in many different ways. The strings are very reliable and have a remarkably powerful sound in the mids, with a centered tonal core. They boast a substantial amount of sound colors that remain controllable for you as a player at all times. Based on our legendary spiral core, we have developed these strings with a new combination of materials to achieve their outstanding properties: for jazz bassists they offer growl and sustain while being easily bowable and providing powerful projection for the orchestra player. Their extraordinary projection lets you all shine.

Yes! You can pick up your order in our workshop:

Monday to Thursday 10 – 13 and 14 – 17
Friday 10 – 13 o’clock
You are based in Austria: why is your website in English only?

This simplifies website maintenance as we are two craftsmen dedicated to building basses, along with our amazing web designer based in Italy Nora. This clarity also benefits our international clients.
